Where it all Began
Â
I began working with exceptional learners at just 12 years old, volunteering in my local elementary school’s special education program. That early experience sparked a lifelong passion, leading me to earn dual certifications in general and special education, with a focus on students with severe and profound disabilities. In the classroom, I quickly realized that standard curricula didn’t meet my students’ needs. They required materials designed specifically for how they learn, with accessible tools that empowered them to build essential skills.
Designing Curriculum That Makes a DifferenceÂ
Â
What started as a necessity in my own classroom grew into a passion for creating meaningful, accessible curriculum. I later began designing instructional materials for organizations serving adults with disabilities, where I met dedicated staff who often lacked formal teaching experience but deeply wanted to help their participants succeed. That inspired me to develop step-by-step, easy-to-implement lessons that support both learners and instructors. My mission is to create tools that make learning easier, more engaging, and accessible to all regardless of ability or background.
